CELEBRATE RECOVERY INSIDE
Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Springfield, MO
Aftercare

Aftercare encompasses the services we offer to men released from prison. If an offender desires to change his life for the better and is committed to participating in the CRI program for at least six months, our volunteers are committed to helping that man find housing upon release from prison. We are also working on job training, grant writing to help with education costs, ministering to the needs of an offender's family, and partnering with other faith-based organizations for assistance.

Inside OCC

Programs inside OCC include large group meetings on Friday nights and smaller Step-Study groups. The Friday night program includes praise music with a live in-house band, a scripturally based recovery lesson, testimonies, and open discussion small groups. After several weeks of attending Friday night meetings, a participant can elect to join a Step-Study group.

The Step-Study groups are more structured and require completion of intense soul searching study booklets, and require reaching into past hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The Step-Study program is the true meat of what CRI intends to accomplish to help inmates strip away the "baggage" in their lives and give themselves completely over to Christ to the point where healing begins and God takes over to change lives.

CRI volunteers have seen former offenders return to being productive citizens, reunite with families, attend college, hold down jobs, and lead others to Christ. God is definitely working miracles through this program!
